How many Jorja Fans are there?

Enough to raise over $10,000 for CASA (counting the nearly $5000 that went in the early rounds of flyers - Yes, CBS saved all that money and is donating it to charity!). Enough to shatter predictions and nail us with almost 90,000 individual visitors to this site this month! (standing at 88,498 right now!). Enough to hit a projected 33gigs of bandwidth on JFO (the most since Jorja’s ignominious firing in 2004, when we hit 44gigs and I had to shut down the gallery!).

Remember, there’s still time left to Donate to CASA. Also there’s time to send me your letters to put in a scrapbook for Jorja. You have until December 25th for your letters. Email them and I’ll print them up. Mail them with your pretty glitter handwriting, and I’ll use that! I trust you guys.

How many letters have you gotten? I sent in mine. I wonder if you’ll get 20,000 letters. That would be one big scrapbook!

I’m sending mine to you by snail mail….just waiting for something to include with it, and then it will
be out in the mail by end of week.
Who would have thought at the beginning of this we would have achieved sending such a big
donation to a great charity like this? Something to be very proud of!

It just goes to show that Jorja Fox brings out the best in people (well, other than the tabloid media).

I’ve gotten three physical letters, 4 emails directly pertaining to the project, and 3 CSI farewells. And then what’s in the wiki already.

Come on, Foxy fans. I know you’re out there!

Not being cynical or anything…

A lot of the influx was probably due to the cliffhanger: just as the ratings rose 5+ million from the season finale, and then dropped the same amount for the next ep… people tuned in to see if Sara lived or died. In the same way, there were probably more than a few visitors to the site who were looking for rumors or gossip, or possibly new information on the whole “contract negotiations” situation. JFO is, after all, one of the very first things that pops up on Google when you search for “Jorja Fox”.

Hopefully, though, at least some of those rumor seekers stuck around and read enough of the site to gain a better appreciation of Jorja Fox.

And it’s early days yet… word of the project will get around.

Be that as it may, Nightwolf, anyone who comes looking for info about Jorja is, indeed, a Jorja Fan ;) Maybe the anti-fan, but a fan none the less.

  8. Nightwolf says:

Oh, we’ll take all that we can get… the more the merrier. I expect things will pick up in the next month or so… everybody’s just getting used to the fact that the campaigns are over and that Jorja is leaving the show.

You’re right Ipstenu, if you are looking for Jorja’s info…There’s some interest in some way on the actress…

What’s sad is that it takes something like the “contract negotiations” and the sleazy rumors to get more people interested in Jorja.
