  1. My thoughts are simple.

First, it was hysterical, when Greg and Nick got the near giggles over Grissom being a husband.

Second, Sara and Nick nearly gagging over the chopped up body looked like a blooper to me!

Third, I adore Jorja’s ability to make an entrance. Is this a bad time. Heh.

And finally, on the possibly unrealistic transformation from Sara’s ‘Can’t be in Vegas! Run!’ from the last two seasons to now … I think it’s clear we don’t have the whole story yet. My first thought was there’s the obvious bit of how someone in her life finally made a choice for her that was for her health (though one might argue Sara’s mom did that too, it’s a little unhelpful in the end). Grissom did right by her, and a prt of Sara that’s been broken for a long time got a chance to heal, to trust. That does do miracles. She got a year (or so) off to decompress, no death, just beauty in nature and *ahem* sex. She chased rabbits for too long. Alice needed a trip to wonderland.

    She’s healing. Not healed.

    • I think Nick and Sara were having a Deja Vu moment while working with the stewing beef. The suggested stench reminded them of a Decomp case that they worked together on…Ah such warm and fuzzy memories. Somebody get the lemons I think they’ll need it, again.

When Nick and Greg were giggling about Grissom and Sara I hope it was because she finally persevered. Good thing come to those who wait. 9 years waiting now that’s perseverance.

I wonder if Jorja would comeback to the show; as a regular.

  2. Loved the episode. Loved Sara’s scene with Greg. Also the one with Nick in the autopsy room and the shootout scene. Heck I loved all of Jorja’s scenes. A good start to the season. I wished that Jorja would stay for more non-consecutive episodes but then that would through off the Grissom/Sara storyline. I wish the writers could work something out. Or have WP come back full time.

    • Read the Ausiello posting on this site. Although he’s never been a fan of Jorja he has asked TPTB at CSI if there is a possibility of Jorja staying longer. They didn’t say no.

    I couldn’t agree more!
I thought it was a great episode and not JUST because of Jorja’s return. The episode just felt like no CSI episode has felt in a long, long time.

We’ve seen before that Grissom is good for Sara and this is proof. She seems grounded and content. Obviously there is something going on as to why exactly she left Paris but I’m sure they’ll clarify eventually. And if we actually get a Paris episode like there have been rumors my head will explode! :)

  4. yes loved all sara scenes.
