Loved, loved, loved the D.B and Sara moments  totally rocked!

  2. I loved them, too, but what on earth did that mean? That wasn’t GOOD foreshadowing. Something is amiss.

“You’ll never see the ending coming.” they say of next week.

I’m telling you people, Grissom’s a killer!

Grissom wouldn’t hurt a fly! Not keen on the finale’s guest ‘villain’, hopefully he is seriously taken down hard.

  4. Oh my sweet episode!
I loved Greg and gorgeous Sara moments..
Bittersweet and now this episode my top two episodes for season 12.
    Worth the wait!

Yeah, those two are really the best of the season for Sara. It’s one of my favorite things, seeing how subtle and careful Jorja is when showing us Old-Broken-Sara, and how she’s grown into the woman who can deal with all this crap. Russell’s doubletake when Sara said ‘My mom.’ was note-perfect (I’m really digging Ted Danson). When you compare it to the conversations Sara and Dr. Ray had about things, this feels more honest and real. Very true to the characters, too. Like you can see the friendship with Sara and DB in a way that we never got with Nick or Warrick or Greg (they were pals, not confidants), and something they tried for with Sara and Catherine but could never quiet reach. Dr. Ray was always just off in his own little world.

Had it not been DB, I could almost see Sara telling this to Brass, but he’s so scarred, I think she’d have held back. I’m delighted to see how they played Sara’s growth from when she told Grissom all about this (remember Nesting Dolls?) and how she can face it a little better now, but still with a veneer of sardonic protection. She’s still distancing herself from it, but less so now. And DB’s ‘Holy shit! I opened up a can-o-worms, didn’t I?’ expression was… well. Yeah. I dig Danson. He needs to stay.

  5. What a great episode for Sara! I was pleasantly surprised by her many scenes with several characters. Loved the DB/Sara scenes; the Sara/Morgan scenes; and the Greg/Sara scenes.
Interesting convo at the end between Sara and DB; very layered. Easy to read a lot into that one.
I think Jorja could have easily been ‘the’ lead female in the show, if she had wanted it, or been offered it. She and Danson have a nice ‘soft’ chemistry together. Easier to watch than all the Finn/DB stuff, IMO.

Yes. That! DB and Finn are still clashing a bit. I do wonder a bit at their damage, and I look at Finn and see what could have happened to Sara without Grissom. Remember early, angry Sara? Like in Sex, Lies and Larvae? “I’m a woman, and I have a gun, and look how he treated me! I can only imagine how he treated his wife!”

Had Grissom not been there to temper Sara, she might be Finn. I see Finn/DB as Sara/Grissom without the sexual tension. Almost Catherine/Grissom, but more paternal than kinship. Maybe Grissom/Warrick is the best example. And Grissom couldn’t save Warrick. :( Miss him a little.

i did notice that when she was interviewing Art, that she was playing with her ring a little.
