Tidbits

From TV Guide:

Guest stars abound! The episode features the debut of Peri Gilpin as D.B. Russell’s wife as well as the return of Jaclyn Smith as Hodges’ mother. But it’s Connor O’Farrell who will make the most waves when former Undersheriff McKeen returns for the first time since he killed Warrick. He’ll wage war on the CSI team, which is stuck with a sensitive case that causes Russell and Finlay to butt heads. “We have a murder that is reminiscent of the case that got Finlay fired in Seattle,” executive producer Don McGill says. “It dredges up deep feelings from the past between Finlay and Russell. Finlay is someone who has a tendency to, in her quest for justice, cross the line.” Although McKeen will attempt to discredit Russell, he also has his eyes on Nick, who will “really, really contemplate whether or not he wants to be a CSI anymore,” McGill says.

Recap and screencaps will be up late tonight/early tomorrow. And that rumor that I’m getting married tomorrow is true. It’s a civil ceremony, though, since for some reason the US doesn’t acknowledge gay marriage nationwide. When they do, I’ll have the big to-do.

By the way, it’s May. Jorja’s birthday is July. You know what that means!

Comments

  1. Congratulations on your marriage and all the best to both of you.

Congrats on the wedding!!!! just wish my state was fair. they just passed the amendment but enough about that, before I get mad and all. I’m excited about tonight’s episode but sad about it at the same time.

  3. Kira699 says:

Congrats on the marriage. Marriage is a matter of the hearts and minds being together, all this religious stuff is rubbish IMHO.

*cough* Actually I’m a fairly religious person ;) But in this case, I get what you mean. Religions where folks have hangups about adults loving adults is just silly.

  4. I do not like this episode, it was good but not great :|

  5. Site Admin Ipstenu says:

Well. A decent episode for CSI. not a great one for Sara. And Nick, man, we know George is back next season, nice job!

  6. I did not like it AT ALL. I don’t have enough invested in Finn and DB to give a crap what happens to them. I’m tired of wondering why we get barely any background and personal life of great characters (that we’re invested in) like Sara and Greg, when we’re treated to 30 minutes of an hour-long show of DB’s Family Time and Finn Almost Making Out with Some Dude I Don’t Know in the Hallway. I just… don’t care. Don’t insult me by making a cliffhanger that I could really care less gets resolved.

    Maybe it’s just me!! lol

  7. Karen Anna says:

I love D.B and I was really looking forward to ‘meeting’ his wife but i felt that it was such a let down. For a character whose been mentioned in nearly every episode this season she just didn’t seem to fit. I thought the relationship came across forced, it just wasn’t right. The episode was alright, its not something i’d write home about :???:

  8. Congratulations and best wishes to you both

  9. spunkycsi says:

I did not care for this episode. I really did not care for bring back the dirty cop stuff. I really did not care for FINN attitude or behavior. There has been way to much FINN and DB they need to tone it down a bit. When Ecklie was shot it reminded me of when Sam was shot and Catherine held him it was the same exact pose. Not enough Sara!

  10. Kira699 says:

This episode really didn’t cut it with me. Sara, Greg and Doc were great, Hodges mother should go away…permanently IMHO. All this corrupt cop stuff again is crap. The episode was all over the place and led nowhere. I’d start looking at the Sherriff first off as suspicious. Politics is not above the law.
