We start with our “Cape Fear”-style premiere, putting Russell and the team on the line. A villain from the past, former Under Sheriff Jeff McKeen (Conor O’Farrell), who took the life of CSI Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan), is now out to get all of our CSIs. Also in the works is a mass killing at a favorite haunt of the lab rats. A trip back in time to old Vegas and the “Rat Pack.” And, on a personal front, the fans’ questions about the state of affairs between Grissom and Sara (Jorja Fox) will be answered.[...]

Sara going mano a mano with a serial killer and bonding with Russell over painful chapters in their past.
And maybe our favorite, seeing the team literally be a team… on the field in a softball game… where Henry (Jon Wellner) drives in the winning run.
Before I totally freak out… they wouldn’t break up Sara and Grissom would they? The final episode hasn’t even aired yet and already I can’t wait til the next season. It makes me wonder if Grissom will return, Sara will leave = no Jorja or if they will split up Sara and Grissom. What do you think? I hate when they do this to us! They still owe us that Grilled cheese scene!
I don’t think for a second they’d break up Grissom and Sara.
I know how you feel, I’m GSR fan and I would put very sad if they split
But we can only hope that does’n happen. It would break the show
I realy would like to see Sara’s mom in the next season…would be very interesting see how is everything between them now.

I’d love to see some Grissom and Sara in season 13 but with BP getting the go ahead for a new tv series i’m not going to hold my breath. I’m game for a good lab rat episode tho

Jorja’s back next season, Billy will remain furtive and secret as always.
Look I severary doubt that they will split up Sara Sidel and Gilbert Grissom. I’m a loyal CSI/GSR fan.. I waited the 6 season for Grissom to get his foot out of his mouth and risk “all that he’s worked for” for Sara. If they split them up they’d have a serious uprising on their hands. We all love this relationship. So yes I’m speaking for many of us we all want to see Grissom come back from Peru and sweep his wife off of her feet and live happily ever after
