JFO’s VHS Tapes

 

I have ten VHS tapes of Jorja, no VHS player, and a need to cut down on what I’ve got.

Basically here’s what’s going on: I quit my job at the bank and I’m moving out to California in two months for a new one. So yeah, I need to get rid of anything I don’t want to haul around. I put a lot up on Craigslist, but my Jorja VHS collection I want to put to you first.

For everyone who donates to JFO before September 15th is automatically entered in a name-draw for the tapes. You don’t have to donate a lot. Five bucks or fifty, it’s no matter. Money goes back to funding JFO, and to me having less to haul 2000 miles. Before you worry, no, I’m not giving up JFO, I’m just downsizing. You’ll notice I’m not giving up my DVDs of Jorja, after all. It’s just that I don’t have a VHS player anymore! Time for these to go to a good home.

    Back away from the tapes there missy! I kept telling myself to remember to donate to JFO. Its well worth it, the tapes were a great incentive to actually get my finger out and follow it through! Tapes or no tapes, definitely worth donating for. I’ve had hours of entertainment here :smile:

    Still really want those tapes though! I’ve struggled to find of them and am dying to finally be able to say that I’ve seen all of Jorjas work. ;-)

    Need like that Ion player that hooks to the laptop. :) can’t imagine letting go of jerky boys. I’ve got way more tapes than you. and still have one working player. and a laserdisc player. (star wars fanatic of a sort) TOS. can’t imagine Jorja is on any C.E.D.’s though. She’d be too young for those. (ended in 1986) But Laserdisc. I wonder.. ie wonder if Jerky Boys is on LD.

      A lot of it has to do with the move. We’re being ruthless, and while I actually have watched Happy Hell Night recently (last Halloween, for the lulz) and I quite cherish Memento, I just can’t justify keeping them. Even for Jorja :)

      I’ve always said I’m far too reasonable and rational to be a fan ;)

    I’ll be happy to take any and all Jorja/ CSI books off your hands and out of your moving van too! Magazines, whatever…and will reimburse you for shipping. No kidding.

    I went through this last summer…downsizing from a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apt. A ginormous house had been in my family of six since 1970, with all their stuff, junk, and the heirlooms of multiple generations. An ordeal, but worth it. Much happier now with just the fraction of possessions to live with. Ya can’t take it with you and all that. Anything I can do? Just ask.
