I know he said when, but somehow I don’t that we are at the end of the show so I think that we have to brace us for the worse..

Just when you start to come to turns with the fact Forget Me Not is a week away and you manage to convince yourself you can survive that amount of time… this comes along !!
Plus , I’m in the U.K so I’ll have to wait until Thursday afternoon after school to watch it.

I’ll join you in breaking down and thank you for noticing she has no ring on, I forgot to check. Although she could just be playing about with the ring or her other finger is covering it…..but still if you were going into a mans hotel room you wouldn’t wear your wedding ring would you. Which brings me to my next question, Sara wouldn’t cheat on Grissom , right? After all she was the one who wanted a relationship in the first place.

I get the feeling she’s just playing with her ring. In other pictures released from the episode, she’s wearing it.

No GSR, no CSI. Sorry. But the light will have gone out for me. I don’t watch CSI for the ‘flirtations and romances’, but this relationship defied the odds over the years so it kept me intrigued, even as the episodes became less compelling. I hope it’s not the end.
If it ends, which I don’t think it will (logic bunnies!) it won’t be over for me. I agree with you 100% – it is the relationship that defied the odds and they figured it out, but I’m going to want to know how Sara deals with it if it all falls apart. So. That’s … all I’ve got.

Just some other thoughts I had about Forget Me Not. They emerged earlier today, before this little snipped drove the logic bunnies underground.
1 – This is the 4th time one of the team has been accused of murder. (Nick, Warrick, Ray, and now Sara. And let’s not forget the times Brass shot people or Sofia was under investigation for doing it.)
2 – This is the second time we’re dealing with one of the team possibly cheating on a spouse. (Doc Robbins did, Sara we know never would. Right?)
3 – I’m a little worried how they’re going to work Sara’s mom, the murder storyline, AND Sara cheating into 43.30 minutes. Are they going to focus an act on each issue?
4 – Grissom. I am so glad they’re tackling the relationship issues but … Grissom.
Don’t get me wrong, I think this is going to be amazing because the writing on the show has been SO strong the last couple of seasons. But I’m also wondering about recycled story lines.
For me Sara cheating would defy everything her character is about and would be most sad and out of character move writers could make. I can’t even begin to contemplate they’d go down that route. No way.
I was just rewatching the episode Long Ball and toward the end Greg and Sara are joking about her marriage to Grissom when he askes: “6000 miles huh?” and she responds with a smile: “So far so good.” My heart SHATTERED.
…And breathe. Don’t even know what to say.But writers aren’t fools, right? And they did ask fans to trust them.
Would Jorja make a comment like that if GSR was in a bad way? I swear I don’t remember last time I was being so anxious about TV stuff.

I’m sorry, but the tone and placement of the tweet screams joke to me. He got hit pretty hard with bitching about his “cushion the blow” tweets (including getting into it a bit with me) and that just felt like a “hey guys, lighten up” kind of moment.

I think the “Grissom Brain Tumor” remark goes back to some remark he made when Grissom left the show. Also, if I remember right next week is sweeps week so they hope an episode like this one will have lots of viewers. Sara has been wearing her ring ever since their last phone conversation. Shane said on his twitter page that on Monday there is an article being posted that will talk about GSR and the end of the season. I assume that will be posted on CSI Files. I just keep telling myself that Carol M. and the writers have to know if they mess with GSR and it goes away—-so will a portion of their viewing audience. I will probably stick around, but will not be happy about the loss of GSR.
Yes, Shane’s article will be on CSI Files on Monday. I know a little about what he’s posting, and nothing about GSR (I didn’t ask, though, I never ask him for that, it’s more fun this way).
