Fresh from Shane Saunders ala CSI Files, Sara just can’t catch a break when Carter MacIntyre visits CSI
Drop Dead Diva‘s Carter MacIntyre, most recently seen on Private Practice, will appear in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation‘s fifteenth episode, I have learned exclusively. In the “Forget Me Not” installment, scheduled to air February 20, MacIntyre will play Taylor Wynard, a man Sara comes across at dinner during her stay at a Las Vegas hotel. When Wynard ends up dead, Sara informs DB Russell (Ted Danson) that she knows the victim and that she was in his hotel room the night before. Though she denies being romantically involved with Wynard, all evidence suggests otherwise and her lying in the matter doesn’t help her case.

Is this all part of some downward spiral after a break up with Grissom? IDK. I don’t like any of the implications of this scenario. I’m sure this is part of the frame-up, but it’s just so OOC and bizarre.

She would never cheat Grissom or anyone!She is the moral compass of the team, remember? I think that they would never deface the character at this point.
Sara cannot possibly cheat on Grissom. And Jorja agree to this scenario. Might as well throw away the first 12 and a half seasons of CSI then.
We don’t know that Sara cheated, though. We know she’s accused, and we know there’s evidence, and we know Sara says it’s not the case.

I have a theory.
Episode begins with Sara coming home from work, tired. Half the team was in NY recently, there was a singer killed, things were tense with Grissom. There’s a light on. “Gilbert?” she calls out, hopeful and nervous. Opens the door… the townhouse has been tossed. Sara sighs and calls it in. What she doesn’t know is the crime was done by Ronnie Basderic, who blames her for the death of the waitress in Blue Plate Special.
Scene is processed, DB comes to ask if Sara’s okay. He’s nice like that. “I’m okay,” she promises, and when asked where she’s staying, has to think. Crap. Not staying with Gil’s mom, certainly. Too awkward. You know what? It’s Vegas. I bet Sara’s never stayed at a hotel here. Let’s do that.
Sara goes to the hotel, meets ridiculously good looking guy (a cousin of ridiculously photogenic guy?), they talk about being away from spouses. Go to his room to chat. Sara doesn’t sleep with him, but Basderic has evidence already from her home (fluids, and yes, EEEW), so he kills the guy and plants the evidence.

More than that, I’m wondering about the trope they are revisiting here. They did a version of this last season with Doc Robbins and his wife. There’s a part of me that is turning into a crazy fangirl and there’s a part of me that is just like “REALLY?”

Maybe the night of the murder she and Grissom had a fight so bad that she didn’t even want to spend the night in the house they used to share, so she booked a hotel room and then sinking back into her season 5 ways went down to the bar and tried to drink away her pain. It was there she met Taylor, then, he being a nice guy and less drunk then Sare, tried to help her to her room which is right next to his (or somewhere relatively) close. However, she misplaced her card key between leaving the room and getting back upstairs (stolen by the killer) so he lets her into his room so they could call the front desk and ask if they could get a new one. Then a drunk and depressed Sara searching for affection tries to seduce Taylor who either does or does not go along with it (my hope is that it is a no) then they proceed to call the front desk (either after he said no or after they had sex) and manage to get a card key, So Taylor helps Sara back to her room and when he returns to his own only to meet the killer and be…well…killed. The killer then uses the key card to sneak into Sara’s room and steal her hair or plant Taylor’s skin under her nails or whatever the incriminating evidence is, but Sara, in her passed out state does not register the killers presence.
But idk that’s just how I see this playing out.

Well, Grissom is asking to be cheated. He is leaving Sara alone. I hope they break up or Grissom goes back to LV to stay with Sara.
I do NOT want a break-up! The writers just need to bring Grissom HOME!
Here’s my take on this; is that the guy is a lawyer or a PI who was helping Sara find out how her mother got out of the “home” she was in and fall off the wagon. The Stalker guy is the one who did that and Lawyer PI was on his trail but unaware of his previous contection to Sara. He was giving Sara an update in his hotel room before hooking up with an old girlfriend. Sara technically lies to the cops because she doesn’t want anyone to know about her mother.

I didn’t see it either. I have a bad feeling about this.
Sadly, I’m beginning to think they break up before this episode. Sara will, of course, be cleared of any wrong-doing (including cheating), and will be reunited with her mother, but I don’t think the writers want to keep GSR together. That’s my fatalistic mind processing the evidence, anyway. I hope I’m wrong.

All of us know how the CSI writers can convolute (sp?) a story to twist and turn it to some wild horse-hair conclusion, leaving enough plot holes to drive the Budweiser Clydesdales through! I am not at all confident this story will be close to holding to Sara’s history!! Her mother will be in two scenes–that’s not much time.
I’m going with the theory that Sara has hired a PI to track down her mother who has gotten away from her long-term care facility—maybe she (mama Sidle) walked out or maybe someone took her. The PI ends up dead, killed by the unknown person who took mama Sidle in a plot to frame Sara for murder. We might have met this killer before–or he may be a total unknown!
But the story isn’t going to get WmPetersen back to the CSI set! Something has happened that has kept him away for more than a year—he didn’t show up for Marg’s exit, for her star ceremony, or visited for any reason—- Sara in harm’s way won’t get him back for this wild-arse set-up. LOL!
I’d like to think it would get him back… But honestly I don’t know anymore. I never thought it would take this long before we’d get to hear him on the phone. My fingers are crossed but I’m not holding my breath.
I feel I need to point out something. Billy wanted to be there for Marg’s last episode. His twins were born premature, and he was very busy with that, to the point of dropping a lot of prior commitments. At the Star Ceremony, he was ill.
While I don’t disagree that there’s some bad blood between him and CSI, the man I met is not that petty

Maybe ‘bad blood’ is too strong a term, but I know he really only came back for 2MrsGriss because Jorja asked, and not because the CSI producers did, so I infer he’s annoyed with them on some level, and just wants to be away for a while.
I’m so glad he came back for 2MrsGriss because Jorja asked him to:) That means a lot. In an idealistic world, & I know I’m stretching for the stars here, I’d love a 3rd GSR kiss. But first, we just need him back for an ep. Ahhh the thought… (I hope she asked him again;))
On Marg’s last day, Petersen chose to appear on another stage to make a PSA and did not go to the CSI stage where the ‘good-bye’ party for Marg was. The twins were months old at the time, fragile but with nurses and therapists. On the day of her star ceremony, he had a heart procedure–elective for day and time–not an emergency. So I think he’s made a decision to stay away that might not be related to health–his or the twins. A few weeks later, he managed to fly to Canada for an event there.
I don’t think he’s petty–having met him after a play and had a delightful visit for 45 minutes with a small group—I do think he might resent some things ‘announced’ without his approval.

PSA was filmed in LA, right on the Crim. Minds stage. However, Petersen’s part could have been filmed prior to the others, and if so, it could have happened on another day. (His body looks weird in the group photo!)
And the day of Marg’s star ceremony it rained–it wasn’t rescheduled.
I had this memory that the ceremony was changed (not because of the rain) but way early on. Still, heart surgery, elective or not, you do when they tell you, star actor
But my point, which I think you’re agreeing with, is that Billy probably didn’t skip those things because he had any sort of issue with Marg, or the actors from CSI.
Well they got the voice recording so he must be around in some way or another and he’s still listed in credits, not that it counts for much I guess. Is that a fact that he hasn’t been on set for a long time?
I am not convinced the voice recordings we’ve heard are not spliced together from old out-takes before he left–a skilled person could do that, and CSI should have some of the best around. According to a couple of sources, he hasn’t been back to the set since early in 2011. The video of Cindy Chvatal and WmPetersen (fall 2012) was made at her house.
That recording was really him him even if he hasn’t been back on set.

Sara’s at the hotel for a very valid reason. She and her husband have plans to spend the night together, just them, away from everything, at a nice place. They need to talk things out, have some nice tender, blow your brains out sex, and so Sara’s there, waiting. But typical Gil, he’s running late. Cue … the rest of the episode.
Work with me people. I’m trying desperately to trust logic and the writers here.

Mas Basderick que tinha invadido a casa de Sara mata Taylor e incrimina Sara . Greg vai proteger Sara das acusações pois ele sempre vai confiar nela e claro ele vai avisar Grissom que esta longe para vir apoiar sua esposa.
A minha teoria é a seguinte.Taylor a mando de Basteric convence Laura que pode ajudar ela a se aproximar de Sara se ela contasse como andava a vida da filha,então Taylor marca um encontro com Sara no hotel e diz que tem noticias importantes sobre Laura.Taylor diz que a papelada toda sobre Laura esta em seu quarto e Sara vai até lá com ele.Então Taylor mostra a Sara uns papéis falsos sobre Laura e ela acredita.Após a saida de Sara,Basteric entra no quarto de Taylor para saber com foi,só que Basteric mata Taylor e incrimina Sara.
Eu ñ sei se Laura tem noticias sobre a vida de Sara e também não sei ainda como Basteric conseguiu provas para incrimina-la….é apenas a minha teoria.

Along with every thing else, I’d love to see a heart to heart between nick/Sara Greg/Sara or all three. Like in 13×1. Sara will/does need family right now & they practically are! Just food for thought. Love to see either of them reaching out to her:)
I noticed that Greg & Nick weren’t their when Sara needed someone to talk to. I’m glad she is talking to the others about ther personal life.
Me too! That’s something that I’m glad she’s doing, that normally she wouldn’t. But I do hope to see Greg & Nick chiming in because they know her better than anyone else there & would really be able to help with a different perspective than either having been married & divorced or married for a very long time. Which can both be helpful, but would love to see the three of them bonding again. Especially when she needs them the most. & they know Grissom & were close to him. That can also help because they can sort of see 2 sides.
This storyline is so bizarre and I am not sure where TPTB are going with it there is NO way Sara would cheat on Gil.They have been through a lot over the years and truly love each other. In agree a long distance relationship is very hard and stressful but the writers put them in this situation. What are the writers crazy she would never kill anyone it is not in her character nor would she risk her career? I found it very hard to watch last week episode and it broke my heart the last scene with her talking to Gil on the phone. If they break them up I will stop watching the show!

“The Powers That Be” (aka the folks who make the decisions at CSI).
I had another thought this morning. I’m showing the gf CSI and we’re into season 9 and we just watched “The Grave Shift.” In the episode, the wife of the dead guy and the contractor on the dead guy’s house are friends. She swears up and down it was platonic, that he was just helping her through a tough time and listening to her while she needed a friend. He swears that the wife was going to leave the husband for him and ends up killing the husband over it.
Well, considering that CSI is recycling story lines already for Forget Me Not, it might be interesting to add this to the mix. Maybe this Tyler guy is actually someone she knows and he’s been her friend through some of the stressful stuff with Grissom and he thinks the relationship is more than it really is. He makes a move, she flees, and then he ends up dead.
It’s a bit of a stretch, but all we have right now is theory and supposition anyway.

i am honestly really excitd about this episode. i am a huge GSR fan and i do love the angst fanfics but i deffinetly do NOT think they (grissom and sara) will divorce or separate. i remember reading in an interview with i think was one of the writers, where he talked about how hard the LDR is for sara and i think they somehow grissom is going to come back and fix it

Well, worse case scenario would be that Sara DOES cheat on Grissom – and unbeknownst to her, he’s in town to surprise her and he sees her, kills Taylor and frames Sara. Now THAT would be a twist. Never happen though. Will it?

No no no… Really? I will admit that certainly would be… A huge unexpected twist, but I can’t even imagine what that would do to Sara. So I have to say I’m not in. However I’m totally up for another big twist like her foster brother doing it or something…. Who knows but I feel like that would be worse then when she was kiddinanped because at least that wasnt as personal to her as much as it was more about Grissom. But that definitely is an interesting idea;)
Obviously Sara’s in on it. They had a spree in San Francisco when they met, and she came to Vegas to continue, only to find out that Gil was being quiet here. But then we’d find out that it was really Gil who killed Holly and Warrick and Speedle (in Miami).

so i am lying in bed bored out of my mind and i have an idea! what if it is Hannah from the unusual suspect and goodbye and good luck?!?! i mean hannah was kinda pushing at saras buttons and i think she blames her for her brothers suicide, and she is deffinetly smart enough to pull it off.
hannah is setting up sara and hannah is really the killer (kinda missed some important details)

Oh there was a superb fanfic on this subject where Hannah was killing kids and framing Grissom, infact managed to get him arrested and team had to rescue him. Was such a great read, wish I could remember what it was called.
