Hey Ipstenu, sorry for my confusion. But what is the difference between Jorja's regular status and what she was listed as just a few weeks ago (recurring cast)? I know you gave a synopsis a little while ago. But I don't know if this latest article is different from the prior one.
Regulars show up in the credits.
Recurring cast can be guests or special guests (which is what Jorja's been).
Now as to what makes someone a guest, special guest, or whatever variation on that designation is myriad, vague, and gives me a headache

This is really good news re:- Sara Sidle but what happens to Gil Grissom? Or does this mean there might be a movie after all? I'm glad we will see more of Jorja. Good for her.

From what Ipstenue indicated that would be an affirmative. I am curious what scene they will use of Jorja in the opening credits. I always had the impression that each season has a first and 2nd half season credit opening. Because this is the end of the first half, will we truly see Jorja in the credits or do we wait til January? I realize that there are some out there wishing Jorja had moved on to do another show. However, given the paucity of openings out there right now due to economic reasons, I believe Jorja made a very smart move in doing what she did. She is an important cast member on a rather successful show. If she had signed on with a show that was to be cancelled, she would have lost out on some really good storylines that I have a feeling will be popping up on CSI in the near future. She made a great and intelligent choice to go this route.
Sara (and Grissom) have always been my favorite CSI characters and it's great to see her back! But I hope this doesn't ruin the Grissom/Sara relationship!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, no way, man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jorja's back!!!!!!!! i am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy about it!!!!!!!!! but now i have only one question: what will happen now with sara and grissom? i mean, sara will be in vegas and grissom will be in paris.

Grissom coming back to vegas to teach or something so he can be closer to his wife 
I would love it if Grissom appeared; even if only for a visit but WP isn't showing any sign that he's interested in coming back. Maybe TPTB can have Sara say that Grissom has taken a teaching position somewhere in the states and closer to Vegas so that quick travel time will keep him and the wife together forever.
WP did put out the suggestion that he and Jorja do a couple of episode in Paris away from the regular crew so as not to disrupt the production of the regular show. Maybe.....................We can only hope.
