CuteNews.ru
We’ve been using CuteNews for our news since late 2005. Now we’re using CuteNews.ru. It’s a Russian product, very much like CuteNews, only with some nicer admin features. This should all be transparent on the user end.

For those of you on IE, who thought the site went insane on Saturday, and for anyone who couldn’t get in the Wiki, we apologize. There was a design tweak that resulted in any logged in user to see the wiki as a ‘fatal error’, as well as a ‘whoops’ issue with us forgetting that IE handles CSS poorly. This should all be corrected now, but if you’re still having problems, send us your OS information (IE 7 on XP or Safari on a Mac). FYI, the site looks best on a CSS compliant browser.

In addition to the various bug fixes for AJAX, we’ve updated the skin and made it easier for people to talk about a page. How’s that? Why you click ‘Discussion’ on a page and it makes a new forum topic!
FYI, we’re not upgrading to 1.9 because that requires PHP 5 and we don’t want to do that just yet.
