One note that I forgot to make in the other post (promo for this ep): Sara has been a CSI for 15 years now, I think it is? Liz Devine said several years ago that that’s the usual burn out period for a CSI. Interesting, no?
Jorja rocked as usual… when she leaves, half of the show’s emotion will leave with her.
I think she’s been a CSI for less than that, in season 5, I think it was in Iced she told Greg that she’d been a CSI for 8 years, so technically she’s been one for almost 11 years. And yep she’s headed for a burnout.
That’s the first time this season that “Grey’s” has beaten “CSI:” as far as number of viewers (”Grey’s” always beats “CSI:” in the 18-49 demographic). It’s down slightly from the beginning of the season, but so far the show has been remarkably steady as far as viewer numbers, unlike last year. I expect the viewer numbers to drop quite a bit after Jorja leaves, because there will be no more GSR - which is what people seem to be tuning in for this year. The numbers will probably be slightly down next week, then way back up for the November 15th Sara finale.
“Living Doll” - 20.0 million viewers
“Dead Doll” - 24.85 million (September revision: 25.6)
“A La Cart” - 20.8 million
“Go to Hell” - 19.6 million
“Cross-Dressing Carp” - 20.8 million
The viewer numbers for “Chick Chop” match “CSI:”s lowest viewer numbers ever, from last season’s “The Good, the Bad and the Dominatrix”. During season 7 “CSI:” went from 25.6 million viewers to 20.0 million, with that dip at 18.7. The all time high for “CSI:” was the 3rd season’s “Lady Heather’s Box”, at 32.2 million.
