Thanks to Nightwolf we have recaps of Jorja’s interviews/scenes on the DVD extras from CSI.
PS - Send Nightwolf your Tylenol. That’s a lot of work.

“West Wing” season 1 is also up.
Wow, Nightwolf! You really did a good job for those transcripts, dead-on accurate from what I remember from the vids.
Here’s some Tylenol, cookies, cake, wine…
need anything elese, hon?
Thank you Nightwolf. for doing those.
No Tylenol, please… I’m allergic to it. Ibuprofen (Advil) would be welcome, though.
Blast… I hate that you can’t edit these entries…
“trent bowie”: I’ve always liked the way Jorja speaks, how she talks; she sounds like a real person rather than a pre-processed celebrity who has been programmed with what she is supposed to say - Jorja Fox usually says what she means, how she means it, which is great. Most interviews and articles tend to gloss over things, such as her occasional repetition of herself, or her almost-constant use of “you know” (she is in California, after all). So I try to transcribe /exactly/ what she says - it says a lot to the person, hearing how she actually speaks.
Of course, our own Ipstenu does a better job than I do - she doesn’t listen to heavy metal that damages the hearing.
Cookies and cake I’ll take… but I had too damn much wine the other night.
“michelle”: thank you. I love listening (and seeing) Jorja in interviews.
I know. Doesn’t it suck? At least with Live Journal you had that option, even if it redirected into LJ itself
.
I don’t take Tylenol either but because of, get this- it doesn’t work on me or something. It’s like taking a placebo. Weird, huh? But I love Advil (which does work) and it’s certainly not because the coating is so sweet.
David, you’re right about Jorja’s “rambling” sounding more natural. Most other celebs’s interviews are so boring. The world’s dumbest questions followed by the world’s most stoic monotones. Also, native New Yorkers like myself have a tendency to say things like “You know” along with “Like” or “stuff like that” and stuff like that. We like to “talk” with our hands, too. Kinda makes you wonder how many fights got started this way.
At least Jorja’s interviews are much more entertaining. So much so that you eventually forget to wonder just what the hell she’s on.
Gimme a sec and I’ll get those cookies and that cake started. And since I sent the wine back shall I whip up some brownies instead?
OT: The only way to make comments editable is to make everyone sign up. And it’s actually easier to handle spam if you’re not signed up. I know, weird. 2,143 spam comments already and you didn’t see any
I do like Jorja’s interviews. They remind me of a young George Clooney.
While not quite the same thing, I’ve viewed the “ER” gag reels as well - no gaffes from Jorja in any of those; it’s usually Clooney or Edwards who were goofing around on the set. On the other hand, the DVD extras from “CSI:” show Jorja joking around on the set. (shrug)
