The FAQs have been updated to make a little more sense. And no, you’re not crazy, the wiki links are currently internet standard blue/purple. The Filmography has also been overhauled and now lists what’s available on DVD, VHS or Blu-ray.

Also, there’s a new video out there GSR: I will remember you by Fan Elizabeth.

Finally: During the writer’s strike in late 2007, the website RTL.de interviewed several of the stars of “CSI:”, including Jorja Fox. Transcript and Video are available.

It’s upgrade season. No more, no less. MediaWiki 1.13 fixes a couple wonky layout issues, and probably introduces a couple new ones. BadBehavior 2.0.22 denies spambots from hitting the site. Also I snuck in a couple server tweaks that should speed up the site.

In an ongoing (sporadic) feature, fan links!

From Elizabeth, we have a youtube video called CSI- What the World Needs Now (is Love). It’s not just Grissom and Sara, but there’s a lot of Sara.

Amber’s got a new Jorja fan site called Jorja Fan Forever which has a forum (though you have to sign up to see the forum messages).

And Lee has a CSI:NY Roleplaying Community which is actually for all three ‘versions’ of CSI.

Happy Birthday, Jorja Fox, and many happy returns!

Your fans have organized a scrapbook and raised a few thousand dollars for charity, and many have become more ecologically conscious and even turned to vegetarianism, all because of your influence. When you look back on the last 40 years of your life, remember that you did indeed change the world in your own way.

Best wishes from the staff of JFO. We can’t wait to see what comes next.

Normally I wouldn’t post this, as it’s not about Jorja. However it’s the summer, and everyone’s on vacation. Including me. I’m off on a camping trip for two weeks as of Sunday the 6th, and I will have very limited access to the net if any. While I’m gone, you’ll be on your own, so please, don’t go crazy.

What will (probably) happen while I’m gone:
• Any day now: The actors may strike. Jorja’s already filmed her episodes for the first part of the season, so the only real worry is ‘Will Sara return in the end of the season?’ If there’s a strike, probably not.
• July 7th: Jorja turns 40. Animal Acres is sending her a card from us, with all your names in it. Yep! Everyone who donated. They named a pig after her, and I believe that Pig Jorja will be in the photo. A Happy Birthday post will magically appear on the 7th for your felicitations.
• July 17th: The Emmy finalists will be announced. Jorja may be included, but we don’t know yet.

Consider this an open topic to go on about anything. Be respectful, be nice and remember: What would Jorja do?

The drive is over, and any money that trickles in today will be refunded. We’ve popped the top on our goal with $1098.90 raised.

Add that to the $1033.28 raised for Burma and that means Jorja Fox Fans raised $2132.18 in three months!

From the 80ish year old woman who called me for help setting up her paypal account down to the teenager whose parents called to make sure I was legit before putting their child’s allowance in some stranger’s paypal account, I salute you all.

With just over half a day left, we’re there. Astounding!

I want you all to take a moment and say ‘I rock’, because in the span of three months, you guys raised over $1000 for JAA’s Burma ‘It Can’t Wait’ fund, as well as JFO’s Animal Acres 40th Birthday for Jorja. Think about that power of fandom for something other than a new iPhone or a video game. We did something for the world, expecting nothing more than the good feeling.

That’s the kind of social action that inspires us to make the world a better place. We are all better people for doing this and I’m terribly proud to be associated with all of you! I’m in talks with Animal Acres right now to do the donation in a way that honors you guys as well as Jorja Fox.

I have a French magazine with an old interview of Jorja. Problem is my French to English translation skills are severely lacking. If you are fluent in both English and French, please email webmaster @ jorjafox.net and I’ll send you the article. I can try to clean up the article if your English isn’t tops, but I’m hoping one of you folks is acing French.
