Jorja Commends Bolivia for Banning Animals in Circuses

Animal Defenders International (ADI) Ambassador, CSI actress Jorja Fox, has written to congratulate President Evo Morales of Bolivia for his introduction of new legislation that will ban the use of both wild and domesticated animals from use in traveling circuses.

In her letter, Ms. Fox commended President Morales on his country's international leadership on animal protection, saying, "The fact that Bolivia will be the first South American country with a national ban on animal circuses, including both wild and domesticated species, is a tremendous credit to the compassion and progressive thinking of yourself and your nation."

Fox, a longtime supporter of animal rights, has previously worked with ADI, launching the 'Stop Circus Suffering' campaign in the U.S. in 2008, Jorja Commends Bolivia for Banning Animals in Circuses and was made an official ADI Ambassador this year.

    I not know that till few days ago. But Its congrats to her to became an Ambassador for those animals. She Must be so pround of herself and her sucessful to fight for those poor animals's rights. I'm sure she's happy that shes an Ambassador for animals that she loves. Well to say that I Wish to say that to Jorja in peson myself to say that congrats to her. But I'm sure she knows that her fans are thrilled for her.
