Jorja Fox and Star Trek?

Nothing about Janet D. Stemwedel's speculation is anything more than just that: speculation. But when it comes to jobs you'd like to see Jorja have, Star Trek would be pretty interesting.

Something I didn't realize until I was a mature nerd was just how regularly, in TOS, Kirk and/or the rest of the crew of the Starship Enterprise violated the Prime Directive [...]

Here's where the idea for a new show in the Star Trek franchise comes in.

The show would focus on a set of characters who are the Star Fleet equivalent of an internal affairs bureau on a cop show. [...]

I haven't really worked out the casting, but I'd love the head of the squad to be a CCH Pounder type (like, maybe, CCH Pounder) -- someone who can be very sympathetic and also very tough. I'm leaning toward someone like Jorja Fox as a Klingon [...]

I'm a Trekkie, and I think it would be cool to see Jorja in some way related to the Star Trek franchise, but I don't think Klingon would do it.

Well with the amount of money that the Star Trek Franchise has earned of the year for everyone involved; we could say that if Jorja was involved she would definately Live Long and Prosper. (Couldn't resist)

If she were asked and accepted to be on a new version of the TV series I think she should be the second female captain. Captain Janeway needs company and the estrogen levels needs to be increased to tone down the testostrone level generate by the past male Captains.

I love Star Trek TNG but yeah, I wouldn't want to see Jorja as a Klingon. Klingon women are savage/brutal ;-D Not a pretty sight.. She would have to be someone cool like a Vulcan or a Betazoid (like counselor Deanna Troi).

ALS - you must be talking about Generations, with the Duras sisters.

I would love to see Jorja join the Trek family, just not as a Klingon. I don't see why she couldn't be Vulcan. I think that race would fit Jorja's look much better (and the author's idea of a Internal Affairs character imo, not to say that Klingons aren't logical- they just aren't known for their patience).

Oh, Frakes and Fox on the same screen would make me squee my head off.

Yes, a Vulcan would do, but could Jorja do dispassionate. Maybe she could be Spocks daughter.

I agree with Angie to.Jorja would be more Jorja as a Vulcan but the makeup is not to great who ever she plays unless it is a humanoid.

    I have the solution.

Half human, half Klingon, like the character on Voyager. She would have 1/4 of the horrendous turtle head make up, and she can show 1 and half times the emotions of a human!

Who about as a 2100 Century woman who was abducted by aliens and transported into the future. She's a cop with a built in lie detector that even works on aliens. When she's rescued, by Captain Will Ryker, Star Fleet can't send her back in time as it would screw up the time space continum. When they find out about her "Gift" they use it in their quest to find out who trying to undermine the Federation.

This way Jorja stays out of the makeup chair for 3 - 5 hours a day, she can wear normal cloth and her character to establish her own course.
