With her new book, “Thanking the Monkey”, Karen Dawn hopes to win people over and urge them to treat animals with compassion, as well as fight against animal exploitation. On Sunday, May 4th at 4pm, a book-signing and reading will be held at Mick’s Cafe (859 Swarthmore, Pacific Palisades, CA).
