The plan is, instead of using a lot of subforums, to use tags. You can tag posts and then sort them by tags, independant of whatever subforum they happen to be in. This way, if you have a post that's about a drawing of Jorja you made for someone's birthday, you can toss it in the Forum for Community and tag it as art:drawing and comm:birthday.
If you're familiar with LiveJournal, this is all old news to you. If this is your first experience with tags, ProBlogger had a great post in 2007 about Categories and Tags. Check it out, and mentally replace 'category' with 'forum' and you'll see the point.
I appologize for the absurd length of this post, but I figured I'd list the same tags used on JFO and JAA so you have a feeling of homogonenity. Tags go in lowercase (I'll fix 'em as we go along, don't worry). I really do intend for this to grow and change but to start with, here's a base.
Jorja Fox Tags have no preface. Since 99% of tags are about Jorja, it was easier to just use the simple method of 'Tag'. If it's about Jorja, but nothing else, just use jorja fox.
- advocacy
- award shows
- film
- politics
- producer
- tv
So for example! Jorja Fox is producing a musical about Dusty Springfield. That would go as producer and dusty springfield. Jorja was also on the Ian Harvie "No on H8!" show, which would be ian harvie and advocacy.
Media Tags are for media things. News articles, screecaps (caps), radio interviews (audio AND interviews), stills of upcoming episodes, other pictures and so on. This is for 'legit' news, not your own blog, please.
- media:article
- media:audio
- media:caps
- media:interviews
- media:pics
- media:psa
- media:stills
- media:video
Art Tags are for fan-art. They're pretty self explanatory.
- art:banners
- art:drawing
- art:fanvid
- art:icons
- art:misc
Community Tags are for what you're doing! Birthdays, campaigns, your own fundraiser, that sort of thing.
- comm:birthday
- comm:campaign
- comm:fundraiser
TV Tags are for TV shows, and require a little more explanation than the rest.
There are basic tags for episodes:- ep:discussion
- ep:spoilers
Then for each type of TV show:
- csi
- er
- missing persons
If you want to be more specific, like for CSI season nine, you do:
- csi:s9
If you have generic spoilers, use the show tag and then one of these:
- talk:rumors
- talk:spoilers
JFO Tags are for things that have to do with the site. You should never need to use these. That said, if you need support, feel free to tag it as support or idea or even OMG! Ipstenu!. I'll sort it out in the end.

Upon further review, tags are complicated. Tag 'em how use see fit, use the above as guidelines or ideas. I'd say use character / actor full names, since we may one day have more than one character/actor named Sara
