Ok, um, well for one i'm new to the site so hello, and two...um..well just for because I didn't grow up with a mother who really cares...anyway thats a whole other story,,but does anyone think that Marg and Jorja have a mother/daughter or big/lil sis relationship? Cuz that's how I always saw them on the show...and those two were constantly trying to get the writers to show their characters as friends?...I thought I saw them right sometime...I am curious of what you all think?...and I just..hate that people always think that they hate each other or aren't friends...when...I think they were close but it was never really screened???

As people, they're friendly as far as I can tell.
As characters? Antagonistic, really, was the end result I came up with. I know there were no missing scenes where they were buddy-buddy, alas, and it boiled down to maybe two or three scenes total where they were friendly on both sides at the same time. The second episode (where they set up the guy who killed Holly) and the episode where Hank was found to be a cheating bastard. And maybe when Catherine inspired Grissom to get Sara a plant.
Other than that, Catherine really put her own views forward as tolerating Sara, but not fond of her. We have far more examples of Catherine being, well, an ass to Sara. Like how pissed off she was in "Lady Heather's Box" when Sara investigated Eddie's death. And how happy she was when Sara got yelled at in "Nesting Dolls". It's just too hard to find little bits where you can pull out and justify saying they were friends.
Wish they'd delved into why, though.

Yeah, but in Dead Doll, Catherine did look concerned for her and was hurrying to find her, and in For Warrick, their hug seemed very friendly...sighs,,,I just..yeah...I wished they showed them..as friends though

Yeah they've had a contentious relationship in some scenes, but I think both characters really care about each other a lot. Catherine also told Griss he should go after Sara in the episode right after she left Vegas. Maybe it's just me, but I think that two people's personalities can clash without them hating each other. And you must admit that Sara was way out of line in Nesting Dolls and totally deserved her reprimand because her behavior was completely unprofessional (albeit understandable in light of her past) and I say this as a huge fan of Sara and GSR. Yes Catherine behavior toward Sara was also uncalled for in Lady Heather's Box, but that was also because she was feeling terrified and totally out-of-control at Eddie's death and Lindsey was also trapped in that car. There's plenty of responsibility on both sides for strain in their relationship, but at the end of the day they're bonded by the experience of being CSIs and being almost like a surrogate family to each other (and sometimes families come with contentious relationships and totally people who can be asses).

Oh, Sara was out of line, no question there. But Catherine's comment of 'Not enough' was too (Invisible Evidence). The implication, when Sara bitched about being taken off her case to work a high priority one and was firmly told to cope by Grissom, was that Grissom lets Sara get away with whatever she wants, and Catherine had had enough.
I adore Marg, but the writers have Catherine getting away with murder (blowing up the lab, investigating cases she has a personal tie to, etc etc). Rules that are held for everyone else are tossed out for Catherine (and Grissom, mind you). I used to call CSI the Cath & Gil show for a reason.
Eh. I do think they have the capacity to be friends, as characters, but the writers are so across the board. One week they have no problems, the next week Catherine thinks Sara uses her 'relationship' with Grissom to her advantage, and the next she's stunned to find out Grissom and Sara actually have a relationship.
Continuity so rarely visits this show.

As for Jorja and Marg, I'm pretty sure they get along good in real life.
For example at the end of the (2nd) RTL Interview I think Jorja said she just spend her morning with Marg and Billy and they are like familiy to her and Marg said in hers that she's sad Jorja is leaving but they are keeping in touch and "got kinda close" to eachother over the years. In an other interview (that was published some time after Jorja left CSI) Marg also said they had just visited her at her beach house and M also was at the premiere of this Dusty Springfield musical thing (Billy too).
Oh, and Jorja did this SAG "comercial" (don't know a better word right know) where she supported Alans work. But speaking of Alan, did you read on Margamania/National Enquirer about the rumour that Marg and Alan split ???
I really hope that's just a that: a rumour! I don't know why, but they always seemed like such a cute and more importantly strong couple. Definitly did not see this one coming (if it is true). That would be really sad although, if Marg really wasn't happy anymore it is perhaps better this way... i'm rambling, sorry, i'll stop right here!Posted 7 months ago #

I wouldn't worry about the Nat'l Enq. They once quoted the JFO forums as a 'source'. Which had be snickering for days. Not that we're not sensible, smart people, but we're not a SOURCE.
A quick look at google news says no one else is picking up that story.
