David Phillips is a fictional character featured in the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He is depicted by David Berman.
History
David Phillips, the younger coroner (not to be confused with Dr. Al 'David' Robbins, the chief coroner, or David Hodges the lab tech), had a bit of a crush on Sara in the first season. As of season five David was engaged (not to Sara), so we presume that he's gotten over that.
Sara was well aware of Phillips' crush on her, and let him down politely in "Friends and Lovers". She appears to have no problems when he flirts with her or seems nervous around her. He later finds a girlfriend, and by season seven, Phillips get married.
