The Slamdance is a showcase for raw and innovative filmmaking self governed – by filmmakers, for filmmakers. The year-round organization serves new and emerging artists, filmmakers and storytellers. They hold a yearly film festival and this year, Roll with Me, a film Jorja’s Seafox Productions helped produce, was shown.
Roll With Me is about Gabriel Cordell’s attempt to become the first person to roll across the United States in a standard, manual wheelchair.
After hitting rock-bottom, a newly sober paraplegic attempts to save his gang-banger nephew’s life by bringing him along on a 3,100-mile wheelchair trek across the United States. What starts out as a challenge to push an unmodified wheelchair from California to New York, morphs into a transcendent journey.
Slamdance’s festival is in Park City, Utah (not Peru – Jorja’s phone auto corrected to that over the weekend!) and she and Gabriel are in attendance.

More photos will be added to the gallery as they arrive.
