I Have a Dream Foundation
Posted on January 18, 2004 • 1 min read • 93 wordsThe 'I Have a Dream' Program helps children from low-income areas reach their education and career goals by providing a long-term program of mentoring, tutoring, and enrichment with an assured opportunity for higher education.
At the “I Have A Dream” Foundation, they provide individualized social, emotional, and academic support to young people (“Dreamers”) from under-resourced communities from kindergarten all the way through college, along with guaranteed tuition support. They believe that when given equal access to the resources they need to succeed, all children can ignite their innate potential and achieve their dreams. Since “I Have A Dream” was founded by Eugene Lang in 1981, they have served nearly 20,000 Dreamers in over 200 programs nationally.
