Earlier on the carpet, Jorja Fox of the Emmy-nominated “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” knew it would be hours before guests at the retro- ’60s official Governor’s Ball - where TV clips were being shown on 72 plasma screens - gorged on Steak Au Poivre with Rock Shrimp and Television de Chocolat. A veggie, Fox had fortified herself with a soy sausage omelet “because there’s booze offered every 3 feet in there and you have to be careful.”
