Q: I heard that Jorja Fox is leaving “CSI.” I know she had contract disputes a few years back, but I thought that had been sorted out.
A: Jorja’s contract expired last season, and it apparently has not been renewed. Back in 2004, she and co-star George Eads infamously held out for more money and were unceremoniously fired from the top-rated crime drama. Shortly thereafter they were rehired - at the same rate they had been paid previously. Jorja is expected to appear in six or seven episodes of the current season, most likely to tie up any of the character’s loose ends; however, I wouldn’t expect to see her in the new year.
