After months of speculation, fans of CSI: Las Vegas were recently informed of the long-time secret affair between Gil Grissom (William Petersen) and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox). Unfortunately, in the wake of Grissom’s recent proposal to Sara (she said yes!) followed by the couple’s first onscreen kiss, her character is being written out of the show. A strong female lead since the show’s inception, Sidle will be missed by both her fans and by Grissom, who will no doubt be left to analyze Petri dishes in the perpetual darkness of his office.
