Dead Beat: Jorja Fox refuses to play dead. Her character, Sarah Sidle, was supposed to die at the end of this season’s CSI. CBS sources say the network decided to kill her off after failing to come to a salary agreement for next season. Only Fox refused to show up on set, meaning expensive reshoots with Marg Helgenberger.
